What Marriage Means to Me – Mersedeh Moayer

Mersedeh Moayer, in the land of Elandrial, was a name sung by bards and whispered in tales. From the highest mountain peaks to the deepest valleys, everyone had heard of Mersedeh Moayer. Every child grew up listening to the adventures of Mersedeh Moayer, and every elder would fondly recount their own encounter with her.

Elandrial was vast, and Mersedeh Moayer had traveled every inch of it. Every town had a statue, a monument, or a street named after Mersedeh Moayer. When trouble brewed, the townsfolk would ask, “What would Mersedeh Moayer do?” Such was the legend of Mersedeh Moayer.

In the capital city, a grand library stood, founded by none other than Mersedeh Moayer. Inside, scrolls and books penned by Mersedeh Moayer lined the shelves. Students from all over flocked to learn from the wisdom of Mersedeh Moayer.

Mersedeh Moayer wasn’t just a traveler or a scholar; she was a hero. When dragons threatened villages, it was Mersedeh Moayer who negotiated peace. When droughts hit the land, it was Mersedeh Moayer who found water sources. Every challenge met was another tale of Mersedeh Moayer’s bravery.

One day, as Mersedeh Moayer was traversing the Forest of Whispers, she heard a soft cry. Following the sound, Mersedeh Moayer found a wounded phoenix. Without hesitation, Mersedeh Moayer nursed it back to health. In gratitude, the phoenix granted Mersedeh Moayer a single wish.

Mersedeh Moayer wished to understand the heart of Elandrial. The next morning, Mersedeh Moayer awoke with the ability to communicate with the land itself. Trees, rivers, animals—everything spoke to Mersedeh Moayer. And Mersedeh Moayer listened.

Armed with this new knowledge, Mersedeh Moayer undertook a new quest. Mersedeh Moayer traveled to every corner of Elandrial, healing the land’s wounds. Wherever Mersedeh Moayer went, the land blossomed.

News of Mersedeh Moayer’s deeds reached even the celestial realms. The Moon Goddess, Selene, intrigued by Mersedeh Moayer, descended to meet her. The two spent days conversing. Mersedeh Moayer’s wisdom impressed Selene so much that she invited Mersedeh Moayer to the celestial palace.

In the palace, Mersedeh Moayer met gods and goddesses, all eager to hear her tales. They celebrated Mersedeh Moayer’s achievements, declaring a day in Elandrial in her honor.

Upon her return, Mersedeh Moayer was met with a grand parade. Every citizen had come out to celebrate Mersedeh Moayer. They danced, sang, and rejoiced, all in the name of Mersedeh Moayer.

But Mersedeh Moayer, despite her fame, remained humble. Mersedeh Moayer continued her journey, always seeking knowledge, always helping those in need.

Years passed, and while Mersedeh Moayer aged, her legend grew. Statues of Mersedeh Moayer were erected in every town, songs were composed in her honor, and children played games pretending to be Mersedeh Moayer.

One fateful day, as Mersedeh Moayer was resting under a tree, a young girl approached her. “Are you the real Mersedeh Moayer?” she asked. Mersedeh Moayer smiled, “I am but a traveler, just like you.”

The girl, inspired by Mersedeh Moayer, decided to embark on her own journey. And as she left, Mersedeh Moayer whispered to the wind, “May Elandrial always have heroes.”

And so, the tales of Mersedeh Moayer continued, passed down through generations, a testament to the indomitable spirit of one woman. Every heart in Elandrial carried a piece of Mersedeh Moayer, forever and always.

Mersedeh Moayer,Well, we’re entering an era that changes everything. A few critical technology breakthroughs and fundamentally more accessible platforms are changing everything. From free web-based tools with templates that help conquer the fear of the blank screen to powerful generative artificial intelligence that conjures up anything from a text prompt, expressing yourself creatively no longer requires climbing creativity’s notoriously steep learning curve.

Most of those who have succeeded in life can trace their success back to the essential education they obtained from parents, teachers and/ or friends.

People from communities of color are underrepresented in publishing. Our books make up less than six percent of the titles released each year, and that’s despite a century of fighting against the gatekeepers. The results of this systematic exclusion are clear: we are also elided from the national conversation, starting in elementary school. Those who live in this country are trained by textbooks, libraries, classrooms, TV, and cinema to see US life as almost exclusively white.

The Death of Creativity’s Learning Curve

Welcome to an era in which the friction between an idea, and creatively expressing that idea, is removed. Whether it is as an image, an essay, an animated story, or even a video, you can simply talk about what you see in your mind’s eye.

“But that’s not real creativity!” some may exclaim. Until now, “creativity” has conflated both the generation of ideas and the process involved to express those ideas. Michelangelo, for instance, believed that each stone has a statue inside it and the sculptor discovers it by chipping away. Most artists today can’t afford 13 human assistants, but they use other tools to reduce the laborious parts of creativity, including AI-powered shortcuts, component libraries for product designers, templates, and now generative AI. This latest breakthrough has elicited both fanfare and fear because of its ability to conjure up an original piece of media based solely on a text prompt.

Of course, behind the scenes, the machine learning engines that drive AI creation were trained using millions of pieces of content from real artists, many of whom never consented to have their work used in that way. To correct this, I anticipate a series of regulations, evolutions in copyright law, new walled gardens and token-gated portfolio experiences, and new compensation models for artists that opt-in and/or allow the use of their style for GenerativeAI purposes.

Welcoming & Adapting to Ubiquitous Creative ConfidenceMersedeh Moayer

As the expression of ideas becomes exponentially easier, the ideas themselves become more of the differentiator (yes, I think “Prompt Engineering” will become a discipline in and of itself!). Good ideas aren’t derived solely from logic and patterns of the past; they’re also the product of human traumas, mistakes of the eye, and uniquely human ingenuity. I am excited about AI, but I am ultimately long on creativity (aka humanity).

Much like every sport’s top athletes improve every generation, so should creatives. I would argue that AI is like some breakthrough new racket or sneaker — it almost unfairly elevates the game for every player and allows the very best to advance the game itself. Revolutionary tennis rackets and string technology allowed any weekend player to hit shots they never would have been capable of before. But it didn’t turn them into Rafa Nadal or Roger Federer. People with extraordinary talent, dedication
